Indie-pop act Women’s Christmas have unveiled their new music video for the single ‘Thumbs Up To The World’.
Directed by D.A.D.D.Y and Charlie Doran, the music video for ‘Thumbs Up To The World’ takes on a suitably off-kilter, D.I.Y aesthetic.
Filmed at the Pop Inn music venue and creative space, the hand-held camera live performance meets surreal FX laden direction and look of the video captures the ragged, subversive sound of Women’s Christmas.
The opening track on Women’s Christmas debut album Too Rich For Our Blood (which appeared in TLMT’s Top 20 albums of 2014), ‘Thumbs Up To The World’ merges the band’s indie-pop and garage-rock influences into a gloriously uncompromising piece of Irish indie.
