Faux Kings set for midnight show in Whelan’s

Faux Kings

Dublin based garage-rock act Faux Kings are set to perform at the Midnight Hour late night live music event in Whelan’s this Friday (October 17th).

The three-piece recently released their E.P. Slam!, a frantically paced record that blends Chuck Berry-esque rock ‘n’ roll sensibilities with the garage-rock meets lo-fi sound of bands like Best Coast or Thee Oh Sees. The E.P. is out now digitally and as a limited edition tape (click here).

With a sound that drives forward with manic energy and upfront music, Faux Kings set at the Midnight Hour will be just as impactful.

Admission to the Midnight Hour in Whelan’s with Faux Kings is FREE before 10:30pm (or by RSVP on the event’s Facebook page) after which the usual club entry fees apply. Doors into the venue are at 11.30pm.
