Listen | The Vincent(s) release new mix of ‘Song for the Sea’ by Courtney Taylor

Death-pop outfit the Vincent(s) are currently streaming a new mix of their song ‘Song for the Sea’ remixed by Dandy Warhols frontman Courtney Taylor.

As we previously reported on the Last Mixed Tape, Taylor will be involved in the post-production of the Vincent(s) upcoming debut album after seeing the group perform at this year’s Sea Sessions festival.

This new mix of ‘Song for the Sea’ which featured on the bands recent E.P. Valley of the Sun is the first glimpse at this collaboration. Speaking about the track Taylor comments: “Is this not the sickest and most totally believable heavy rock motherfucker ever?.

Indeed, the new remix add extra sonic weight and heft to the scratching, growling underbelly of ‘Song for the Sea’. Bringing a more upfront and imposing feel to the music, the sheer force of the Vincent(s) sound is expanded upon with this bold take by Courtney Taylor.

It will be interesting to hear how this sound is carried throughout the group’s forthcoming album. The song itself will be released as a single on October 3rd via Fifa Records before embarking on a tour of the UK & Ireland.
