O Emperor to play the Workman’s Club this September

O Emperor

Irish alternative-rock O Emperor are set to perform at the Workman’s Club in Dublin on Thursday, September 18th.

A group with a unique and intricately structured songwriting approach, O Emperor’s blend of alternative-rock, psychedelic and folk music has seen the five-piece two absolutely seminal Irish indie albums with their 2010 début Hither Thither and it’s more aggressive, fuzz tinged follow-up Vitreous (which earned the band their second Meteor Choice Music prize nomination for Best Album).

The Waterford act have also confirmed that work has begun on album number three, with a provisional release next year.

With a live sound that matches the intensity, dynamically turbulent sound of their studio work O Emperor’s return to the Dublin venue this month will be, as always, a must see event. Support on the night will come from alternative-rock band Tandem Felix.

Tickets to see O Emperor with support from Tandem Felix on September 18th are priced at €8. Doors at 8pm.
