Dublin noise-rock act Girl Band are currently streaming the b-side to their upcoming single release ‘De Bom Bom’.
The track is a cover of American indie-pop act Beat Happening’s ‘I Love You’ taken from their 1985 self-titled debut album. The song will a b-side to Girl Band’s new single ‘De Bom Bom’ due for release on August 29th via independent record label Any Other City. The single will be available on limited (500 copies) 7″ vinyl.
The rendition of ‘I Love You’ is a suitable ragged and noise infused take on the original that will be the perfect flip-side to Girl Band’s upcoming vinyl release. Click here to listen to ‘De Bom Bom’.
Girl Band will also headline a show in the Button Factory in Dublin on Saturday, September 27th with support from Cian Nugent & the Cosmos. Tickets are priced at €13 and are on sale now via tickets.ie & ticketmaster.ie.
