Dublin power-pop act the #1s have released their latest music video for ‘Heartsmash’, taken from the group’s self-titled debut album.
Filmed by Cáit Fahey, the video for ‘Heartsmash’ takes on a suitably lo-fi VHS aesthetic that captures the thrashing sound of the #1s sound seen most prominently in their recently released first L.P.
Coupled with a vibrant colour palette Fahey’s decision to meld the characteristic edges of video tape with the bright multi-coloured backdrop matches the gritty feel of the #1s music that surrounds the band’s infectious pop-sensibilities.
