Somerville & Booka Brass Band to play Happenings in Fitzwilliam Square


Booka Brass Band and Somerville are set to play Happenings music presents at Fitzwilliam Square in Dublin this Wednesday, August 13th.

Curated by influential music blogger Nialler 9, the event will yet another exciting pairing of some of Ireland’s most individualistic artists, following last month’s line-up of Katie Kim and Conor Walsh.

Included in this week’s bill will be Somerville. An artist with an immensely textural sound shaped by deeply atmospheric tones, the musician’s live set is an evocative experience in any setting.

Booka Brass Band will also play Fitzwilliam Square on Wednesday evening. The Dublin group have become a mainstay on the festival circuit this summer bringing their energetic live show to Knockanstockan and Body & Soul, while also collaborating with Irish indie legend Jerry Fish.

Tickets to see Happenings music present Booka Brass Bands and Somerville live in Fitzwilliam Square are priced at €10 on the night. Gates open at 7pm with performances starting at 7.30pm. For more information visit the event’s Facebook page.
