Cloud Castle Lake unveil début track ‘Sync’

Cloud Castle Lake

Dublin-based trio Cloud Castle Lake have unveiled their début track ‘Sync’ taken from the group’s upcoming E.P. Dandelion.

Softly introducing itself with a soaring falsetto vocal, ‘Sync’ suddenly opens it’s scope with a vibrant injection of infectious syncopated rhythms that work off one another to create a moving bed of melody and percussion.

Constantly evolving and adding dynamic and textual twists and turns, Cloud Castle Lake’s sound pulses with booming brass and funk-laden guitar while still inhabiting a ambient post-rock slant that underscores the piece.

Vast in terms of production and overall sound, ‘Sync’ is a very promising glimpse into the Dublin band’s sound going into the release of Dandelion. Harmonically dense and with real weight in the percussion the song alludes to an E.P. of great scale. It will be very interesting to hear how Cloud Castle Lake evolve this sound throughout their début record.
