Alternative-pop act Floor Staff are set to perform at the Button Factory in Dublin this Saturday, August 9th.
The show will launch the physical CD release of Floor Staff’s recent E.P. The Good Luck and their new double A-side single ‘Gift Horse / Brother To God’. The event will celebrate the group’s upcoming music video for ‘The Guest’, which is also taken from the band’s current E.P.
With their full-bodied sound and densely populated production aesthetic, Floor Staff’s music is characterized by a intriguing blend of broad stylistic flourishes. Evoking a sound that draws comparisons to fellow alternative-pop acts such as the War on Drugs and the Antlers.
Also performing on the night will be electronic artist Elaine Mai. A musician who has gradually built a highly respected reputation in the Irish music scene with the recent E.P’s Known Unknown but also her remix work on tracks by Heathers, Youth Mass and Cat Dowling, to name but a few.
