This Wednesday (July 30th) will see Irish songwriters Katie Kim and Conor Walsh perform a special open air show at Fitzwilliam Square in Dublin.

Presented by event organizers Happenings and curated by Aoife Flynn the show will offer the perfect setting for two of the country’s most individualistic musicians and performers.

A force of nature, Katie Kim has garnered wide-spread critical acclaim for her first two studio albums, 2008 débutTwelve and the immense Cover & Flood (2012) which featured such seminal tracks as ‘The Feast’ and ‘Your Mountains’. An artist with an equally evocative live show, Kim’s performance this Wednesday will be a must see.

Conor Walsh is a musicians with an intricate and atmospheric character to his sound. Deeply cinematic, his work spans minimalist and electronic stylistic touches that permeate throughout his music. Walsh is currently working on an album due for release this Autumn via FeelGoodLost records.

Tickets to see Happenings present Katie Kim and Conor Walsh live in Fitzwilliam Square are priced at €5 on the night. Gates open at 7pm with performances starting at 7.30pm sharp. For more information visit the event’s Facebook page.
