The full line-up of acts performing at this year’s Jack of Diamonds Rhythm & Roots music festival has been announced.
Taking place from Friday, August 15th to Sunday, August 17th across four indoor venues (The Button Factory, Sweeney’s Bar, The Grand Social & The Mercantile) and an outdoor stage (Shack of Diamonds) in Dublin city’s Dame District the Jack of Diamonds festival will showcase a rich array of artists from the roots, folk, trad, rockabilly and blues genres.
Included in this year’s line-up are The Eskies, Tucan, Saint John the Gambler, Gavin Glass & the Holy Shakers, Tupelo, Mongoose, Sarah Red, Kicking Bird, Conor Linnie, Twin Headed Wolf, the Dublin Afro Beat Ensemble and Rackhouse Pilfer. Also taking place throughout the weekend will be Dublin’s first rock ‘n’ roll conference including a vintage car rally, citywide motorbike ride and a barbershop convention.
While the Back Stage Pass exhibition will take place at the Button Factory showcasing photography from Liam Quigley, Colm Henry and Darren Farrell featuring images of U2, Thin Lizzy, the Boomtown Rats, Tom Waits and Rory Gallagher.
