Alternative-rock act Kate’s Party are set to play a fundraising gig in Whelan’s on August 2nd ahead of the group upcoming UK tour this summer.
A group very much on the ascendancy, Kate’s Party have an impressive work ethic that has seen them become a regular feature to the Irish live music scene (and indeed the Last Mixed Tape). This approach will see the band move their attention to the UK in the coming months, touring in support of their début album Hollow.
In preparation Kate’s Party will play a tour fundraiser gig in Whelan’s upstairs venue next month. The show will feature support from punk act Chewing Tin Foil and indie band the Winter Passing.
Tickets to Kate’s Party’s show in Whelan’s on Saturday, August 2nd are priced at €8. Doors at 8pm. For more information visit the event’s Facebook page.
