Night Trap & I Heart the Monster Hero to play Whelan’s

I Heart the Monster Hero This Saturday night Night Trap and I Heart the Monster Hero will take to the stage in Whelan’s upstairs venue for a late-night set.

The show will bring together the synth-pop sound of Night Trap and I Heart the Monster Hero’s powerful psych-pop live performance to the Dublin venue this weekend. The pair appeared together recently at I Heart the Monster Hero’s ‘Toni Bailey’ single launch at the bandstand in Dublin’s Phoenix Park.

With a pair of energetically electro driven demos currently online (click here to listen), Night Trap’s fuzz-laden washes of textural atmosphere and frantically building layers of synthesizer culminates in a palpable in an engaging up-tempo sound that is an exciting sign of things to come.

The recent release of Rhythm & Pals, I Heart the Monster Hero provided a brilliant and daring début release that showcased all of the group’s unique and captivating sonic characteristics. And with a live show that captures this sound, the psych-pop act are simply a must see.
