Irish indie-rock outfit Buffalo Sunn have been confirmed to play Whelan’s upstairs venue on Saturday, July 19th.
Following a stellar performance at this year’s YouBloom 2014 festival in Sweeney’s last month and the release of their brilliant new single ‘By Your Side’, the six-piece indie band will play a late night set at the Dublin venue this month bringing their powerfully portrayed live sound to the upstairs stage.
The group will be joined on the night by Reekus records label mates Death in the Sickroom, the indie-pop act have captured the imagination of late with their new singe ‘Tonight’ which features as this week’s addition to our song of the week piece ‘The Mixed-Tape‘.
Admission to see Buffalo Sunn with support from Death in the Sickroom in Whelan’s is free before 10.30pm (or by commenting on the event’s Facebook page) after which normal club prices apply.
