Dublin acts Alarmist and OKO are set to play Whelan’s on June 21st as part of the venue’s new monthly showcase Any Given Monday.
Following last month’s inaugural show with Blue Eyed-Hawk, Selk and Clang Sayne, Any Given Monday returns with OKO and Alarmist a duo of acts that explore an exciting myriad of genres including jazz, electro, krautrock, noise and math rock.
Hosted by the Improvised Music Company the monthly event looks to showcase an array of bands and musician’s from Ireland’s eclectic and creatively vibrant music scene. Next month’s Any Given Monday night will feature perfromances by Ensemble Eriu and Treelan.
