Irish indie-rock legends the Frames have announced they will play a special intimate show in Whelan’s on Monday, June 30th.
Coming as part of the Dublin venue’s 25th anniversary celebrations which have already seen sets from Damien Rice and Something Happens, the Frames will be the next group to mark the occasion with a one-off performance.
A band who have performed an array of stunning shows in the Whelan’s over the years (including a recent set to celebrate Glen Hansard’s birthday), it seems fitting that the five-piece be a part of the bar’s anniversary series.
With a long-standing history with the venue, a highly respected live reputation and a rich back catalogue of music to choose from, the Frames show in Whelan’s next week will be sure to be a night to remember.
Tickets to see the Frames in Whelan’s on Monday, June 30th are priced at €20 (limited to 4 per person) and will go on sale today (Tuesday, June 24th) at 2pm via whelanslive.com. Doors at 8pm.
