Irish alternative-rock band Little Matador have unveiled their latest music video for the single ‘Reasons’.
Directed by Liz Robinson and Kevin Hylands, the narrative follows Little Matador frontman Nathan Connolly as he trains and eventually fights two-time world champion boxer Lisa Anderson after an ill-conceived bet on national television regarding the future of the group.
Containing several fun, comedic moments during Connolly’s training montage and some truly stylish camera work during the vocalists showdown in the ring with Anderson, the video captures the straight-up, hard-hitting indie-rock sound of Little Matador’s latest single to be taken from the group’s self-titled début album.
With the fuzz-laden pounding nature of ‘Reasons’ combined with the frantic fun, yet brilliantly composed visuals of Robinson and Hylands’ direction the music video for Little Matador’s new single results in an entertaining take on the medium.
