Alternative-rock artist Cat Power has confirmed at show at the Olympia theatre in Dublin on Saturday, June 7th.
Cat Power is currently touring her 2012 record Sun, the musician’s ninth studio L.P and first album of original material since 2006’s Greatest following two cover releases Jukebox and the E.P Dark End of the Street.
Released to critical acclaim Sun showcase a sea change in tone and sound for the artist, with the vibrant glistening aesthetic of tracks such as ‘Cherokee’ and ‘Manhattan’. Proving to be well worth the six-year wait, in terms of new original output, the album encapsulates everything that is brilliant, vivid and engrossing about Cat Power’s individualistic musical style.
