Halves to headline at the Workman’s Club

Electronic-rock act Halves have confirmed that they will headline a show at the Workman’s Club in Dublin on Friday, June 6th.

The band, whose brilliant sophomore album Boa Howl was released last year to critical acclaim, will perform at this Dublin venue this summer with support coming from experimental-folk duo Carriages.

Infused with a deep sense of scope and depth of field Boa Howl showcases Halves’ myriad of sonic influences moving from ambient, post-rock and electronic aesthetics within the same breath songs such as ‘Drumhunter’ and ‘Tanager Peak’ are a testament to the group’s considerable talent. While live performances expand, while also translating, the broad spectrum of sound conveyed in their studio work.
