Alternative-pop act Ginnels will launch their brilliant new album A Country Life at Popical Island’s new venue the Pop Inn on Little Britain Street, Dublin on April 12th.

The group comprised of No Monster Club trio Mark Chester, Paddy Hanna and Bobby Ahearn with Squarehead’s Roy Duffy and Ruan Van Vilet released the stellar new L.P last month showcasing a sea-change in the bands style and approach.

Populated with some simply stunning examples of Irish indie-pop at it’s best A Country Life maintains a cohesive sonic thread throughout resulting in several stand out tracks including ‘Honesty’ and ‘God Brothers’. Read theLastMixedTape’s full review of A Country Life here.

Support on the night will come from noise-pop influenced outfit Autumns and shoegaze band Galants.
