Diane Cluck announces Irish tour

Virginia-based anti-folk songwriter Diane Cluck has confirmed a trio of Irish shows for this coming April.

Cluck will tour the country in support of her seventh studio album Boneset, the artist’s first record in eight years since 2006’s Monarcana, 2001-2004. Informed by Diane Cluck’s individualistic take on the folk genre the album is atmospheric affirmation of the songwriter’s distinct sound and deeply evocative vocal delivery.

Diane Cluck unique appraoch has garnered the composer wide-spread acclaim including experimental-folk duo CocoRosie who have collaborated with Cluck in the past. CocoRosie’s Bianca Casady remarked that “When Diane sings, I am lost in a realm of infinite possibilities. She breaks me down, she gives me chills, she makes me cry–this is when I love music. ”

As part of Cluck’s upcoming tour of Ireland, the musician will perform in the Workman’s Club in Dublin, TDC Triskel in Cork and the Menagerie, Belfast. See full details of Diane Clucks Irish tour below.
