Samantha Crain set to play Whelan’s

Samantha Crain

American singer-songwriter Samantha Crain has been confirmed to perform in Whelan’s of Dublin on Thursday, July 24th.

With the deeply atmospheric and lyrically evocative nature of Crain’s song writing taking focus on the artist’s recent studio album Kid Face, the textured aesthetic and ambient clatter of the recording’s subtly produced sound translate the intimate feel of Crain’s music perfectly.

The Oklahoma native will perform in Dublin in support of her third L.P and with the musician’s powerful live shows garnering attention from both Spin and Rolling Stone at the 2013 SXSW festival, the concert in Whelan’s this summer will be a unique opportunity to experience the performer’s music in an intimate setting.

Tickets for Samantha Crain upstairs in Whelan’s on July 24th are priced at €13 and will go on sale this Wednesday (March 26th) at 9am. For more information visit
