Award-winning composer and vocalist Edel Meade has announced a pair of live dates at the Chancery Lane theatre in Dublin this April.
Following a stellar performance in the Odessa Club last month (which was review by theLastMixedTape here) Meade will bring her acclaimed show The Joni Project to the intimate surrounds of the Dublin venue, performing tracks from the rich back catalogue of legendary song writer Joni Mitchell accompanied on guitar and piano by Dick Farrelly.
Including an eclectic blend of Joni Mitchel’s work, Meade provides a broad representation of the artist’s career taking in songs from several of Mitchell’s seminal albums such as Blue, The Hissing of Summer Lawns and Hejira.
Edel Meade will play Chancery Lane theatre on both Saturday, April 19th and Friday, April 25th. Doors are at 8.30pm.
