The Statics to play Whelan’s

The Statics

Dublin indie-rock four piece the Statics will headline a show in Whelan’s on Friday, March 28th.

The group whose début E.P Hidden Pigeon was released last year (April 20th) showcasing the band’s broad spectrum of influences delivering a record populated by a powerful, hook-laden blend of indie-pop and rock and roll sensibilities.

Imbued with a deep sense of melody and rhythm the Static’s latest single ‘Hit & Miss’ is the perfect affirmation of the group’s swaggering, jolting sound that makes the band’s music so distinctive.

With the energetic sound of Hidden Pigeon the Statics have translated the pulsating aesthetic of their studio work to the live realm with several festival stealing turns, including appearances at Castlepalooza and Vantastival.
