Rarely Seen Above Ground a.k.a Jeremy Hickey has announced the support acts for his forthcoming live event at the Button Factory on Friday, March 14th.
The concert, which was announced last week, will be a unique opportunity to experience R.S.A.G’s visceral,all-encompassing live performance which will be evolved further on the night through Hickey’s collaboration with show designer Krisjanis Berzins.
Speaking about the decision to work with Berzins, Jeremy Hickey commented “I’m honoured to be also working with the very talented, show designer Krisjanis Berzins for this night, he thinks visually the way I think music”.
Adding to the already, eclectic aesthetic of the night, which will also be filmed, R.S.A.G has confirmed support on the night from Lasertom, producer Simon Cullen’s recent solo work which culminated in the sonically gorgeous full-length release Drift, and electronic artist Imploded View whose most recent E.P Mixed View received guest remixes from VHS Head, Christ, Daithi and R.S.A.G himself. Film-maker and artist Paul Mahon a.k.a Geppetto will also be providing visuals on the night.
R.S.A.G’s show in the Button Factory on March 14th is free and organisers are advising people to resister for tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. To register email arareinsight@gmail.com.
