Alternative-ambient collective Band of Clouds will perform a headline show in the Grand Social, Dublin to launch their album Appear to Float on March 21st.
Formed by musician and producer John Haggis, Band of Clouds album is an evocative, atmospheric release from the group. With a definite tonal and textural thread found throughout the record, the collective harmonic force of Appear to Float constantly evolves as the L.P progress through the ambient soundscapes formed by Haggis and his collaborators.
With a plethora of talented musicians appearing on Appear to Float, Conor Campbell, Sarah E.S Grimes, Brian O’Sullivan, Shauna Freeman and Stephen Mahon all join Band of Clouds on this stunningly beautiful album.
Band of Clouds will have support on the night by singer-songwriter Karac Kennedy, who will also open for Suzanne Vega and Declan O’Rourke in the coming months, and electronic producer Luke Farrell’s current project Activities.
