Tower Records moves to 7 Dawson Street

Dublin-based record store Tower Records has officially moved from its home of 21 years on Wicklow Street to its new location of 7 Dawson Street.

The immensely popular record store has moved into it new store in the former Waterstones building on Dawson Street today, February 19th.

The new location will allow Tower to expand its size and scale while still maintaining its indie roots providing alternative, popular and avant-garde music, film, books and art for its bustling clientele. The Tower cafe will also undergo a development in size.

Most exciting for music fans will be the expansion of the Tower records vinyl section, as the store will provide an even wider selection of LP’s for record collectors.  The new setting will also see the introduction of Listening Suites for audiophiles to experience there music in store.

The brand new Tower Records store is open from today, Wednesday February 19th, at 7 Dawson Street in Dublin.
