Plugd records and Lisa Lemur have compiled an exciting line-up for St. Patrick’s weekend in the Triskel Arts Centre in Cork.
Offering a stunning alternative to the usual St. Patrick’s celebrations taking place in the TDC and Gulpd in Triskel Arts centre, Cork.
Stanley Brinks & the Wave Pictures will kick the weekend of music off in the TDC room on Friday, March 14th. The collaboration between the former Herman Dune member and the English alternative-rock act will be sure to provide a visceral, creative edge to the line-up. Support on the night comes from JohnOfSilence and Frescend.
One of Ireland’s most unique and uncompromising artists, Katie Kim, will continue the alternative tone of Plugd records and Lisa Lemur’s eclectic St. Patrick’s weekend live bill. The musician’s powerful approach to her music blends lo-fi, ambient and alternative-rock elements into one cohesive sonic vista that when experienced live takes on a life of its own. The concert will take place in the TDC room, doors at 8pm.
Dublin-based noise-influenced outfit will bring the weekend to a powerful close. With their synth driven take on the noise-pop/rock genres the trio create a growling sonic aesthetic that will capture the imagination during live performances. Doors 9pm.
Tickets for a weekend pass are priced at €15. Individual nights are priced at Friday (€5), Saturday (€10) and Sunday (€7).
