‘Mistaken For Strangers’ to screen at the Pavilion theatre in Dun Laoghaire

Music documentary Mistaken For Strangers is set to screen at the Pavilion theatre in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin on Thursday, April 3rd.

Released in 2013 and shot around American alternative-rock act, the National’s 2010 tour supporting their seminal fifth album High Violet, the documentary was directed by Tom Berninger brother of the band’s vocalist Matt Berninger.

Taken from Tom Berninger’s over 200 hours of behind the scenes interviews and concert footage of the critically acclaimed U.S band, the film portrays both the National as they under go their biggest tour to that point and the relationship between Tom and his older brother Matt.

Mistaken For Strangers paints an honest picture of a group on the ascendancy and is a must for fans of the band and of film in general, with Tom Berninger gaining a unique insight into the National during what was a landmark year for the band.
