Indie-pop band Groom have released their final single ‘Another Day’ ahead of their goodbye gig in Whelan’s this Friday night.

The four-piece recently announced their plans disband earlier this year and will play one final show in Whelan’s on Friday (March 20th) with support from Rural Savage. Tickets are priced at €5 via whelanslive.com.

With its jangling guitar, hooky choruses and palpable pop core ‘Another Day’, Groom’s FREE to download farewell single, is a fitting coda to the band’s brilliant back catalog filled with some essential indie-pop gems, including their stand-out final studio album Bread and Jam.

A firm favorite of The Last Mixed Tape’s (Bread and Jam featured in both TLMT’s Top 20 Albums and our Readers Top 20 Albums of 2014 list) Groom’s forthcoming goodbye show in Whelan’s will be a must for all indie music fans.
