Homebeat & Irish Writer’s Centre present ‘Songbook’ November line-up

Event organizers Homebeat and the Irish Writers Centre’s Songbook live music series returns this month as part of the Dublin Book festival.

Taking place on Sunday, November 16th at the Irish Writers Centre on Parnell Square North, the November line-up will include performances and interviews with songwriter Hilary Woods (read T.L.M.T’s review of her new E.P. Night here) and alternative-folk act the Young Folk.

Hosted by acclaimed singer-songwriter Cathy Davey and Homebeat’s Emmet Condon the Songbook series discusses and explores the inspirations and talent behind each songwriter giving the audience an insight into the craft and art behind the process.

Previous guests include Deaf Joe, Ana Gog, OCHO, Idiot Songs and Come On Live Long.

Tickets to the Dublin Book festival edition of Songbook on November 16th at the Irish Writer’s Centre in 19 Parnell Square North, Dublin 1 are on sale now via eventbrite. Doors are at 7pm.
